Circles and Ceremonies

Are you looking for more meaningful connection with other women who are seeking to live their best (imperfect) lives?   We welcome, open-hearted, interfaith, curious women with an earnest desire to both give and receive honest support. Most Circles involve a year long commitment so that we can deepen our trust and connection within the group.

Please contact Kathryn if you are interested in a group or have a group of women that might be interested in taking such a journey with her. For example, a group of clergy women asked Kathryn to facilitate a Circle for them have and have been meeting monthly for years.

Current Circles Include:
*Belonging; Remembering Ourselves Home by Toko-pa Turner. Using the book as inspiration we will share soul searching and creative expression.

*Warrior Goddess Training; Become the Woman You Are Meant To Be  by Heatherash Amara. This is a powerful book of self discovery and learning when to step back and when to step forward in our daily lives.

Past Circles:

*Finding Stone;  A Quiet Parable and Soul-Work Meditation by Christin Lore Weber

*An Altar in the World by Barbara Brown Taylor

*The Second Half of Life: Opening the Eight Gates of Wisdom by Angeles Arrien

*The Gifts of Imperfection by Brene Brown

Ceremony in community is one of the most powerful ways to honor all the transitions in our lives. Weddings, funerals and birthdays are obvious times to gather and be with community, but there are other transitions to be marked as well.

At East Wind Ceremonies, we are available to mark times of ending and change; divorce, retirement, emply nests, as well as times of new beginnings; choosing a new path, a new career, a new relationship with oneself, blessing babies and homes.

This business was named East Wind Ceremonies because of a powerful dream that came to Kathryn, where the name was actually written out on a sign outside an office building in her dream!  She has participated in many ceremonies in the last 30 years, including marriages, memorials, divorces and other intense times of letting go.

Contact Kathryn directly if you are in need of putting together a circle of people to help you mark an important event in your life.  We should never underestimate the power of what happens when people come together with love and intention.

Kathryn King is an extraordinary spiritual guide, leader, and mentor.  She is exceptionally gifted at creating sacred space, from which people feel safe to be vulnerable and do their personal work.

From the moment you meet Kathryn, you experience her authentic caring and healing presence.  I have had the honor and pleasure of participating in numerous ceremonies over the years and strongly believe that Kathryn’s skills as a sacred ceremony facilitator are simply the best!

SoulCollage Workshops and Circles

“To any person who loves to go deeper with SoulCollage®, you couldn’t find a better facilitator than Kathryn King. She knows just the right seeds to plant, the questions to ask to help an individual find what they were supposed to find in the class that day. You will always have a rich experience with her whether it is in a one day class or a weekend retreat where there is time for work and play and everything in between… you will be richly blessed for the experience”

Yearly Manzanita SoulCollage Retreat

"First of all, thank you for the gift of your vulnerability.  Your willingness to let the weekend unfold and not be perfect , was a gift for me. It gave me permission to step back, let go of my expectations, and be open.

Second is the safe space you facilitate.  You held a sacred space for us to explore ourselves. You reminded us to take good care of ourselves during the retreat and as we left to re-enter  the "real world".

Lastly,  you made it a sacred harbor.

Each of our journeys were honored.  It felt like each of us were welcomed, and allowed to be wherever we were at that moment in our life process.
Thank you!    Nancy S.
